NH KofC Family Camporee
August 30^th & 31^st September 1^st & 2^nd, 2024
Event Report

 I am happy to report that we had another successful weekend , weather wise and 35 families in attendance. With five new families joining us for the first time. Starting with a resignation and being at a new location, but we got it done Thanks to Rene and Susan Laferriere.

Saturday morning Games and activities was good. John St. Marie got an early start with the cribbage players. His sister won the golden pack AGAIN! The BB Shooting contest was again a huge hit with teens and younger children. Over 50 participants were present. Thanks to Mike Carrier and David Paradis for their efforts. When it came time to gather for the Living Rosary, we had another good turnout. Many thanks go to Jim Preisendorfer . We then headed to the dining hall for watermelon and corn on cob. We had 25 participants during the evening Kids Bingo with thanks to Nancy Metevier and Sue Laferriere. We ended the night with the Teen Dance with DJ Mike & Nick Carrier, with 25 –30 participants.

Sunday Morning, we woke up to the smell of Chef John McClure and his crew preparing breakfast for our Camping Families and served 90 people. After breakfast we rounded up all the bikers for the Bike Parade. Thanks goes to Melina LaValley & her crew. We had 35 bikers of all ages participating. While this was going on Nancy Metevier sets up the penny sale with over 70 prizes to raffle. Once we were all set up, we went to mass with Fr. Aggie. After Mass, we headed to the dining hall for the BBQ with Chef Kevin Brown & His Family Friends. Thanks Guys! Great Job! After dinner we enjoyed Ice Cream Sundaes with Pat Preisendorfer & Sue Kowalik. Thanks to them and the daughters' of Kevin Brown. We ended the evening with awesome game of Bingo With Jim Preisendorfer as our caller and his crew: Joe. W. , Rene L. , Ray L. & Brain L. In closing we raised 2,700 dollars for the diocese camps workday. Thank you All for your support in the event. If you have pictures of this year’s camporee please submit to me via email.
