With the exception of one prize which was purchased for $300, all other prizes were donated by Knights, organizations, or parishioners. Prizes included Patriots tickets, various gift cards, a set of golf clubs and a round of golf for 4 people, a gas grill, auto detailing certificate, and USA 250th anniversary items. The raffle was a huge success with $4645 brought in (with a cost of $300, net proceeds were $4345). These funds were distributed as follows: 50% to the Wounded Warrior Project, 25% to Parish of the Assumption, 25% to Council 807 charitable endeavors. Over the course of the raffle and speaking with parishioners during ticket sales after Masses and at the picnic, we were able to recruit 3 new members who will take their installation degree in the near future.

We had 3 wonderful prizes this year. First prize was a gift basket which included Patriots tickets, multiple gift cards, a gas grill, and USA 250th anniversary items. Second prize was a set of golf clubs donated by a parishioner along with a coupon for a round of golf for 4 people at the Oaks Course in Somersworth. Third prize was a $300 auto detailing gift card along with a $100 Irving gas card. With the exception of the auto detailing card, all the other prizes were donated by Knights or parishioners. We publicized the recipients of the raffle,50% of net proceeds to the Wounded Warrior Project, 25% of proceeds to the Parish of the Assumption, and 25% to Council 807 charitable endeavors. As a result of the generosity of the parishioners (tickets were sold after each weekend Mass for 5 weeks as well as at the picnic itself), we raised $4645 from this endeavor. Cost of $300 left profit of $4345, which was distributed as mentioned above.
