For Fraternal year 2025-2026, we are planning to try a different approach to what we have traditionally called the GK Quarterly meetings. Over the past several years, council attendance at periodic State meetings and events have been on the decline. Frequently, 50% or less of our councils participate.

The comments and feedback we have received focus on two main concerns:

• The amount of travel to the meeting locations.
• The content and structure of these meetings has been filled with too many presenters and too many numbers. The meetings are boring, repetitive in content, and provide little the GKs can take back and use at their local councils.

We are coming to YOU!  To improve the meeting experience and increase council attendance, we will be launching a "zone" meeting approach this year. Following our initial GK Organizational meeting in July, we will be traveling to each of the three zones to hold these meetings; one meeting per zone.  We carefully created a map of NH with each of the three zones defined, along with a listing of the councils by the zone in which they are assigned. The location of these zone meetings will be determined by a consensus of the District Deputies in each zone. They will select the host council for the meeting with the intent of maximizing the local council’s attendance.

These meetings will be informal and designed to encourage two-way interaction. We plan to include more fellowship time, fraternal activities, workshops, problem solving sessions, best practices and more. More details will be shared as we continue to develop plans to improve.

We are trying something different in hopes that you will find the meeting experience to be more attractive, more meaningful and give you information and solutions you can bring back to your local councils. We ask that you give this a chance & look forward to your feedback throughout this process so that we can continuously improve.
