Everyone involved benefited - whether they were knights, volunteers, or people with disabilities. All of the monies raised were donated to organizations that support people with intellectual disabilities such as Special Olympics, Dancing Among the Stars Theather Group, Kimi Nichols Center, and Bridging the Horizons

1, Monies raiised and donated to the organizations mentioned help offset costs and support their yearly budget. When knights and volunteers wear the Tootsie Roll Drive aprons they are emphasizing a greater awareness to those in need and challenging stigma related to having such as condition such as down's syndrome.
